Volleyball Recap: Appleton North Comes Up Short

The Appleton North Lightning didn't have quite enough to beat the Muskego Warriors on Saturday and fell 2-1.

NATHAN RAMUS paced Appleton North's offense, picking up 20 kills. RAMUS got some help from SPENCER MUNSON and his 21 assists. MUNSON was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Appleton North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Muskego, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Appleton North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Wauwatosa East on the 6th. As for Muskego, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cedarburg on the 6th.
