Brazos won the last time they faced Boling and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars walked away with a 9-5 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.
Ava Aguilar spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Abigail Danford was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Preslee Woodall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Brazos' victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Boling, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.
