Frontier proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 21) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 15-14 victory over the Centennial Golden Hawks. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Golden Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

Talen Mather was his usual excellent self, rushing for 175 yards and a pair of scores. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Frontier was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Frontier didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Keegan Robertson and Mekhai Watkins. Watkins is becoming a predictor of Frontier's success: when he posts at least one interception the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Frontier nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
