Softball Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Kings Mountain Mountaineers, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Kings Mountain, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

As of now, neither South Point nor the Mountaineers have any future games scheduled.
