It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Belt ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 48-47 photo finish over the Box Elder Bears. The victory was just business as usual for the Huskies, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Belt had a senior duo take command as Aaliyah Gaylord posted ten points along with seven rebounds and three blocks and McKenzie Pogany put up ten points and three steals.

Box Elder lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Martay Stiffarm-Rosette, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Stiffarm-Rosette is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shareece Raining Bird, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 19 boards.

Belt's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Box Elder, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.
