Softball Game Preview: Saint Jo Panthers vs. Bryson Cowboys

The Saint Jo Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Bryson Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Saint Jo has given up an average of 17 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saint Jo came up short against Perrin-Whitt on Monday, falling 23-13. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bryson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 22-6 to Perrin-Whitt. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 2, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Bryson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Saint Jo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Saint Jo's way against Bryson in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Saint Jo made off with a 19-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Saint Jo since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
