Volleyball Recap: Demopolis Comes Up Short

Demopolis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Demopolis' defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-10 record this season.

Demopolis will take on Montevallo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Gulf Shores on the 11th.
