Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake's Ryan Miller recorded the longest rushing play in Section 6 D this season in his game against Cassadaga Valley last week. Miller scampered for 67 yards on the play and finished with 155 on the day as his team defeated the Cougars.

Curt Fischer's team moved up to 234 from 310 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake was able to move up by besting Cassadaga Valley 56-0.

Kyle Mayer and Miller gave Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Teammate Josh Bradford added to the ground attack by rushing for 57 yards.
