Baseball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Stillwater's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Stillwater unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 5-1 to the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders. The Ponies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Stillwater saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Fredkove, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Tanner Kahn also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Stillwater's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stillwater is set to take on their familiar foe Irondale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cretin-Derham Hall will square off against rival Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
