Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Janell Julue and Arionna Tunstall Lead Seneca to Victory

Seneca won the last time they faced Atherton and things went their way on Friday too. The Seneca Red Hawks walked away with a 48-41 victory over the Atherton Ravens.

Seneca was led to victory by Arionna Tunstall and Janell Julue. Tunstall dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Julue almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. With that strong performance, Tunstall is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.

Seneca smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matches.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Atherton, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Seneca wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 39-34 loss against Male on the 27th. Atherton has also already played their next contest, a 52-26 victory against Western on the 28th.
