Baseball Recap: West Allegheny Takes a Loss

The West Allegheny Indians came up short against the Riverside Panthers on Thursday and fell 4-1. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

West Allegheny's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Riverside, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Allegheny will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Shaler Area at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Riverside, they will face off against Ellwood City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Riverside's pitchers better be ready for this one: Ellwood City has averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
