Basketball Game Preview: Sparkman Senators vs. McAdory Yellowjackets

The Sparkman Senators and the McAdory Yellowjackets will compete for holiday cheer at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sparkman has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 26.

Last Tuesday, Sparkman came up short against James Clemens and fell 57-49. While losing is never fun, the Senators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Jets are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, McAdory also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Minor by a score of 56-45.

McAdory's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Sparkman, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
