Softball Recap: Groveton Comes Up Short

Groveton fell victim to Woodsville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Engineers. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Engineers: they've now lost six in a row.

Groveton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Woodsville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Groveton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-17 defeat against Lisbon on the 19th. As for Woodsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 16-4 win against Lin-Wood on the 19th.
