Baseball Recap: McKean Find Success

McKean's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the DuPont Tigers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. For the Highlanders, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Not much got past Gavin Erbayri, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep DuPont off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jey Oquendo, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.

The win got McKean back to even at 1-1. As for DuPont, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKean will host Mount Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for DuPont, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Brandywine at 3:30 p.m.
