Football Game Recap: Eatonville vs. River Ridge

On Friday, Eatonville came out on top in a nail-biter against River Ridge, sneaking past 23-20. For Eatonville, this is just revenge for the 0-14 loss they suffered against River Ridge the last time they faced one another.

The matchup started off well for Eatonville, whose offense put up 20 first-half points. River Ridge countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 20-7 going into the half. Eatonville almost let the matchup get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it. The victory bumped their record up to 5-1. The loss dropped River Ridge back to even at 3-3.

Eatonville will be playing at home against Steilacoom at at 7:00 PM next week. Steilacoom have averaged 56.5 points over the course of their past five games, so Eatonville might be in for a challenge. As for River Ridge, they will face off against Clover Park. These teams are both seeking redemption after dropping matches that they were favored to win.
