Basketball Recap: Mandan Find Success

While Mandan didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bottineau Braves/Stars 61-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since February 16th.

Mandan's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Bottineau, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mandan will face off against Minot at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Bottineau, they are taking a road trip to challenge Grafton at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Bottineau's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
