Simi Valley is 10-0 against Royal since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Simi Valley Pioneers will be playing at home against the Royal Highlanders at 7:00 p.m.

Simi Valley came up short against Camarillo on Friday, falling 62-38. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Scorpions are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Royal). They breezed by Moorpark to the tune of 77-46 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Highlanders have posted since December 28, 2024.

Simi Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season. As for Royal, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.
