Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sullivan). They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Hermann Bearcats on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Sullivan and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Hermann, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Sullivan will be playing at home against Union at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.6, the Wildcats 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Hermann, they will face off against Owensville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Dutchmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Bearcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
