South Range is 9-1 against Hubbard since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. South Range's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Hubbard's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

South Range was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Poland Seminary on Monday. The Raiders blew past the Bulldogs 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hubbard owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over Girard. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Kaylee Schultz, who gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks to keep Girard off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Haleigh Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Songer, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

South Range is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hubbard, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

South Range took their victory against Hubbard in their previous matchup on April 14th by a conclusive 12-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
