Volleyball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Chalker Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23.

Makenna Jones paced Windham's offense, picking up nine kills. Jones got some help from Kierrah Sanders and her eight assists. Kyleigh Simpson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Chalker, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Windham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Maplewood on the 25th. As for Chalker, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bristol on the 25th.
