Bellmont has gone a perfect 4-0 against Fort Wayne Snider recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Braves will welcome the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bellmont comes in on five and Fort Wayne Snider on three.
Bellmont proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Noble, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted since April 23rd.

Bella Ashley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bellmont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finnley Godsey, who went 3-for-5 with one RBI. That's the most hits Godsey has posted since back in April. Another was Emily Bleke, who went 3-for-5 with one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bellmont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Noble only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Snider got the win against Fort Wayne South Side on Monday by a conclusive 17-6.
Madelyn Taylor and Makayla Stone made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Taylor tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Stone struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). At bat, Taylor got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Stone went 2-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Fort Wayne Snider let Gabrielle O'Neill and Iiley Griggs run wild. O'Neill went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Griggs got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Ella Houser was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs.
Fort Wayne Snider's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Bellmont, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Bellmont took their win against Fort Wayne Snider when the teams last played back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 20-8 score. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
