Volleyball Recap: Shadow Ridge Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Liberty

Shadow Ridge faced Liberty in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Stallions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Stallions haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bella DeLeon paced Shadow Ridge's offense, picking up six kills. DeLeon got some help from Rigley Garrison and her 17 assists.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 19-7-5. As for Liberty, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Shadow Ridge has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Verrado on the 10th. As for Liberty, they will square off against Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
