Baseball Recap: Callaway Takes a Loss

The Callaway Cavaliers came up short against the Newnan Cougars on Friday, falling 10-1.

Callaway saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Duncan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Callaway has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season. As for Newnan, the win was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4.

As of now, neither Callaway nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
