Oxford not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Tupelo Golden Wave as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Golden Wave: they've now won six in a row.

While Oxford won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.
