Soccer Recap: Austin-East Takes a Loss

If Austin-East was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gibbs last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roadrunners came up short against the Seymour Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Austin-East were not able to make up for their defeat to Seymour from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Austin-East's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Seymour, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Austin-East will take on rival Fulton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seymour is set to challenge their familiar foe Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
