Basketball Recap: Oakesdale Comes Up Short

Oakesdale was the 46-41 winner over Almira-Coulee-Hartline when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Oakesdale Nighthawks took a hard 64-47 fall against the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors on Tuesday.

Oakesdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Oakesdale will challenge St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they will take on Tonasket at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tonasket will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Almira-Coulee-Hartline surely won't give up without a fight.
