Football Recap: Pensacola Takes a Loss

Pensacola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Booker T. Washington Wildcats 39-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 54-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anaiyah Adams was nothing short of spectacular for Booker T. Washington: she threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. What's more, Adams racked up 140.6 passer rating, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.

Pensacola's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Booker T. Washington, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Pensacola and Booker T. Washington will both be playing Escambia the next time they take the field. Booker T. Washington will head out to face Escambia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Pensacola will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
