Softball Recap: Chaska Hawks vs. Orono Spartans
After only one run in their last contest, Chaska made sure to put some runs up on the board against Orono on Thursday. The Hawks blew past the Spartans 16-1. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Chaska got a great performance from Noelle Stein as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits.
On the hitting side, Ashlyn Larson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ellie Scott, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
