Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chicago University Maroons. If the Caxys were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Maroons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Lake Forest Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Lake Forest Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Chicago University, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Coming up, Lake Forest Academy will challenge Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chicago University, they will square off against Cristo Rey Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
