Fulton entered their tilt with Auburn on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Maroons by a score of  9-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  5-0  back in April.
 Emma Spaulding made a splash no matter where she played. She  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Spaulding wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Abigail Somers, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.  Nadia Rose was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
Fulton's record now sits at 9-1. As for Auburn, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Fulton and Auburn will both be playing Jamesville-DeWitt the next time they take the field. The Red Raiders will head out to face the Red Rams at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while the Maroons will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
