Baseball Recap: Ohio County Comes Up Short

Ohio County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Marshall County Marshals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marshals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in March.

Ohio County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Marshall County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ohio County will head out to face off against Breckinridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Tigers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marshall County, they will face off against Mt. Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
