Volleyball Recap: Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison vs. New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners

Oklahoma School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Louisiana School for the Deaf at 3:30 p.m. on October 26th. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wisconsin School for the Deaf on the 12th.
