Soccer Recap: Woodstock Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Woodstock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Glenbard North Panthers on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Woodstock needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Woodstock pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Glenbard North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodstock will square off against Plano at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glenbard North, they will welcome Wheaton-Warrenville South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
