Basketball Recap: Mingo Central Comes Up Short

Mingo Central managed to slip by Grafton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Miners came up short against the Bearcats on Thursday, falling 76-51. The Miners just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Mingo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Grafton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mingo Central will challenge Heritage Christian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grafton, they will face off against Frankfort at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
