Volleyball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Ketcham Storm. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Storm 25-19 in the first set.

Brewster started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-13, 25-19, 25-17.

Ketcham was led to victory by Jordan Carmichael and Isabella Asuncion. Carmichael had eight digs and seven aces, while Asuncion had seven digs and five aces. Carmichael is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ketcham, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Brewster has already played their next game (against Byram Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ketcham, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Suffern on the 17th.
