Soccer Recap: North Lamar Comes Up Short

North Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Venus Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that North Lamar have lost by exactly two goals.

North Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Venus, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

North Lamar and Venus will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time North Lamar sees the pitch they'll take on Ford at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Venus, their break will end when they face Kennedale at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th.
