Football Game Recap: Georgetown Prep vs. Riverdale Baptist

Georgetown Prep won the last time they met up with Riverdale Baptist, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Georgetown Prep narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Riverdale Baptist 9-6. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

The victory bumped Georgetown Prep's record up to 3-1. The defeat dropped Riverdale Baptist's record to 4-2.

Georgetown Prep will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Benedictine. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Riverdale Baptist, they will face off against Bullis. Both of those teams are looking to take out their frustrations on one another after having lost close ones recently.
