Softball Recap: Bishop Stang Takes a Loss

Bishop Stang fell victim to Bishop Fenwick and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Crusaders. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Bishop Stang saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sidney Alboum, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Bishop Stang's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bishop Fenwick, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Stang will venture away from home to take on New Bedford at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will head out to face off against Peabody Veterans Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
