Volleyball Recap: Anderson-Shiro Takes a Loss

Anderson-Shiro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodville Eagles. The Fighting Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.

Anderson-Shiro's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Woodville, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Anderson-Shiro will square off against Latexo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodville, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Orangefield on the 23rd.
