North Pike had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Loyd Star Hornets by a score of 8-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 two weeks ago.

Bo Barnes looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dawson Bigner was a standout: he scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had over his last 11 matches. Another player making a difference was Peyton McGehee, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
