Washington (Greenville, Miss.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat
River Oaks (Monroe, La.), 28-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Chris Jaime touchdown pass to
Roman Fratesi in the first quarter, the Generals were up 21-0 at the half.
Washington grew its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS's lone score in the quarter came on a Fratesi touchdown run.
The Greenville school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 19-7.
The loss comes after River Oaks defeated Glenbrook 41-24 last week. The win brought Washington's winning streak to three games.
Washington (3-0) goes up against Lee Academy in a non-conference game matchup next week, while River Oaks (2-2) locks horns with Riverdale Academy also in a non-conference game.
