Soccer Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County was the 4-1 winner over James River when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Friday. Carroll County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for James River, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll County will challenge Floyd County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for James River, they will take on Bath County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
