Basketball Recap: Sunrise Christian Academy Takes Down Crossover Prep in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sunrise Christian Academy walked away with it. They blew past the Crossover Prep Lions 81-27 on Saturday. The Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Sunrise Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Montez Davis, who posted seven points and nine rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Davis now owns an excellent 45.8% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyzrel Graham, who had seven points along with seven assists and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for Sunrise Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 25-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Crossover Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8.

Looking ahead, Sunrise Christian Academy will take on Christ Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crossover Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
