Recap: Ralston Rams vs. Crete Cardinals
The Ralston Rams had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a rough 67-17 loss at the hands of Crete. Ralston has struggled against Crete recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Crete can attribute much of their success to Marin Rasgorshek, who scored 17 points along with 3 steals. Amelia Hohlen was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 steals.
Ralston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Crete, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Ralston will be playing in front of their home fans against Blair at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Crete won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bennington. Hopefully Bennington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Thursday.
