Volleyball Recap: Memphis University School Comes Up Short at Home Against Crosstown

Memphis University School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Crosstown Explorers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Memphis University School wouldn't go down easily and took Crosstown into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 15-13.

The victory (which was Crosstown's tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

As of now, neither Memphis University School nor the Explorers have any future games scheduled.
