Basketball Recap: Northview's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Northview's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 52-42 victory over the W.S. Neal Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Northview was led to victory by Madeleine Atallah and Daviona Randolph. Atallah posted 17 points, while Randolph scored 18 points. The dominant performance gave Atallah a new career-high in points. Aaliyah Fountain was another key player, putting up seven points.

Northview's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7. As for W.S. Neal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will venture away from home to face off against Tate at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Tate will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Northview surely won't give up without a fight. As for W.S. Neal, they are taking a road trip to challenge Flomaton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
