Oconto has gone 8-2 against Algoma recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oconto has eight straight victories, Algoma has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Oconto had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Gibraltar on Tuesday. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win.

Oconto never let Gibraltar on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Algoma had to take the L. They came up short against Peshtigo on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-9.

Oconto's victory bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Algoma, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.

Everything went Oconto's way against Algoma when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Oconto made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
