Basketball Recap: Shalom Christian Academy Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Shalom Christian Academy Flames came up short against York Country Day and fell 77-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), the Flames still had to take the loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead York Country Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Maus, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah White, who put up 18 points.

Shalom Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for York Country Day, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shalom Christian Academy and Fannett Metal will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for York Country Day, they will take on Oley Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. York Country Day is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 79.6 points per game this season.
