Nease and Gulf Breeze squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Nease had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Dolphins. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Nease was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Nease's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Gulf Breeze, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Nease does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gulf Breeze, they will take on Reagan at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Dolphins surely won't give up without a fight.
