Baseball Game Preview: Paoli Rams vs. Mitchell Bluejackets

The Paoli Rams will square off against the Mitchell Bluejackets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Paoli's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Mitchell's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Paoli came up short against Christian Academy and fell 6-3.

Paoli saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Chastain, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Justin Thornton was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Eastern Greene, falling 13-3.

Paoli now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Paoli has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mitchell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
